Care Net Pregnancy Center of Milwaukee opened its doors in 1985 after a year of grass roots planning by a group of dedicated people. This group of people included pastoral, business, legal, and health professionals who had a passion to serve women facing unwanted pregnancies. They joined with the National Christian Action Council (n/k/a Care Net) located in Washington, D.C. in this grass roots effort to bring help and comfort to women who found themselves in a crisis pregnancy.
Recent times and the changing culture of our community have urged us to expand our vision beyond the crisis pregnancy. There are many other issues society faces such as abstinence education and support, dating relationship counsel, post-abortion counsel, peer mentoring, pregnancy health education, and issues men face when they hear the words, “I’m pregnant.” Care Net pregnancy Center of Milwaukee is made up of staff, board members, ministry partners, and volunteers who all do their part in offering support, care, guidance, and comfort to women, men and their families facing unplanned pregnancies and related issues.
Whatever your concerns may be, whether it’s a pregnancy, possible pregnancy, or if you simply have questions, we are here for you.
